Gorgeous Crochet Doll's Carry Basket




Accessories:

Abbreviations: st=stitch, sc=single crochet, ch st=chain stitch, sl st=slip stitch

BOTTOM

Bottom crochets as a spiral. Mark the starting point of a round, helps you counting the rounds.

Crochet 21 ch st.

1.round
Start crocheting from the second ch st.
2 sc to 2 first st, 16 sc, 2 sc to 2 last st. Crochet similar to the other side of the chain on st’s.
(= 48 st all together).


2.round
2 sc to 1. st, 23 sc, 2 sc to last st (= 50 st).

3.round
2 cs to first 3 st, 21 sc, 2 sc to next 4 st, 2 sc to last sc (= 58 st).

4.round

2 sc, 2 sc to next st, 2 sc, 2 sc to next st, 22 sc, 2 sc to next st, 2 sc, 2 sc to next st, 2 sc, 2 sc to next st, 22 sc, 2 sc to next st (= 64 st).


5.round
2 sc to next st, 3 sc, 2 sc to next st, 3 sc, 2 sc to next st, 19 sc, *2sc to next t, 3 sc* repeat *_* 2 more times, 2 sc to next st, 19 sc, 2 sc to next st, 3 sc (= 72 st).

6.round
2 sc to next st, 4 sc, 2 sc to next st, 4 sc, 2 sc to next st, 20 sc, *2sc to next st, 4 sc*, repeat *_* 2 more times, 2 sc to next st20 sc, 2 sc to next st, 4 sc (= 80 st).

7.round
5 sc, 2 sc to next st, 5 sc, 2 sc to next st, 27 sc, 2 sc to next st, 5 sc, 2 sc to next st, 5 sc, 2 sc to next st, 27 sc, 2 sc to next st (= 86 st).

8.round
3 sc, 2 sc to next st, 5 sc, 2 sc to next st, 5 sc, 2 sc to next st, 24 sc, *2 sc to next st, 5 sc* repeat *_* 2 more times, 2 sc to next st, 24 sc, 2 sc to next st, 2 sc (= 94 st).

9.round
Crochet 1 round 1 sc to each st. Close the round with 1 sl st to first sc.

EDGE

Turn the bottom upside down. Crochet 1 round of sl st anticlockwise on top of the edge of the bottom (= 94 st).
Crochet 8 spiral rounds of sc, 1 sc to each sl st (= 94 st/round).


9.round
Crochet 15 sc, 30 ch st (handle), jump over 8 st, sc up to 24 st, 36 sc, 30 ch st (other handle), jump over 8 st, 27 sc, sl st to first sc.

10.round
15 sc, 30 sl st to handle, 36 sc, 30 sl st to other handle, and the rest of the round with 1 sc to each st.



11.round
Crochet around with sl st, 1 sl st to each st. Turn the work right side out.

SOFT TOP

Crochet the soft top to the same end where the rounds have ended.

Crochet 1 ch st in the end of every round before turning the work around, makes the edge neat.

1.round
Start with 38 sc, 1 to each st, turn the work around.

2. and 3.round
38 sc, turn around.

4.round
11 sc, 2 st together (decrease), 12 sc, 2 st together 11 sc (= 36 st) turn around.

5.round
10 sc, 2 st together, 12 sc, 2 st together, 10 sc (= 34 st), turn around.

6.round
34 sc, turn around.

7.round
16 sc, 2 st together, 16 sc (= 33 st), turn around.

8.round
10 sc, 2 st together, 4 sc, 2 st together, 4 sc, 2 st together, 9 sc (= 30 st), turn around.

9.round
14 sc, 2 st together, 14 sc (= 29 st), turn around.

10.round
10 sc, 2 st together, 5 sc, 2 st together, 10 sc (= 27 st), turn around.

11.round
10 sc, 2 st together, 3 sc, 2 st together, 10 sc (= 25 st), turn around.

12.round
10 sc, 2 st together, 1 sc, 2 st together, 10 sc (= 23 st), turn around.

13.round
10 sc, 2 st together, 2 st together, 9 sc.

Burn  the ends of the weft and tie off.


FINISHING
Burn the ends of the weft and tie off.
